NFL Week 2 Practice Updates

Thursday, September 16

  • Tee Higgins (concussion) – DNP-personal, he isn’t practicing after a LP Wednesday, but it’s due to personal reasons, not the concussion

Wednesday, September 14

  • Harrison Butker (ankle) – ruled out for Thursday night football
  • Keenan Allen (hamstring) – ruled out for Thursday night football
  • Alvin Kamara (ribs) – LP, more on what his rib injury could be and impact on week 2
  • Tee Higgins (concussion) – LP, progressing through concussion protocol, but head injuries are unpredictable
  • Mac Jones (back) – FP, scans were negative on his back and he is expected to play
  • Zach Wilson (meniscus) – the Jets are starting Joe Flacco again in week 2, but Wilson was back at practice and could be nearing a return following surgery to trim a torn meniscus
  • Allen Lazard (foot) – returned to practice
  • Najee Harris (foot/ankle) – LP
  • J.K Dobbins (ACL) – FP, close to a return, was limited all last week so this is an improvement
  • Mike Evans (calf) – LP, appeared to injure his leg in week 1 but played through it, was seen with a wrap on his calf at practice
  • George Kittle (groin) – DNP
  • D’Andre Swift (ankle) – DNP, this one was a surprise as he didn’t appear to be injured in week 1, not too concerned yet
  • Chris Godwin (hamstring) – DNP, more on his latest setback
  • Julio Jones (knee) – DNP
  • Russell Gage (hamstring) – DNP
  • Jameis Winston (back) – LP, the injury led him to the injury tent on Sunday, but he quickly returned to the game, no concerns for week 2
  • Michael Gallup (ACL) – LP
